Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

RN – Cardiac Step-Down

Schedule: Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years of cardiac step-down experience, including heart catheter recovery and cardiac drips, and care for post-operative open-heart patients.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Must have experience with Open-Heart procedures and Epic EMR.
• Comfortable providing care to ventilated patients if necessary.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for cardiac step-down patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements.

Compliance / Notes:

• All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
• The facility reserves the right to adjust scheduled hours based on patient census and staffing needs.
