Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Assurance Engineer in FOXBORO, MA

As a (n) Quality Assurance Engineer you will:

This position works in conjunction with Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Engineering and our Product Expertise Centers globally, in the areas of quality evaluations, product audits and resolution of non-conforming materials. This position requires accuracy in recording results and the keeping of detailed records. Timely attention to submissions of returned exhibits to Expertise Centers is essential, as well as effective communication of findings, questioning of results and the providing of the information to others, including Customers, is imperative. Must be capable and effective in report preparation, data presentation and reporting of technical and quality issues.

This is a Fulltime Contract opportunity.

Schedule : Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

 
Job Summary:
Seeking a Quality Technician with 3+ years of experience in quality inspection, product evaluation, and defect analysis within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will inspect materials and finished products, perform dimensional inspections, investigate quality issues, and support corrective actions to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality compliance.
• Perform dimensional inspections using measuring equipment.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and products.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Generate inspection reports and material compliance certificates.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Communicate quality issues and findings to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with measuring and inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $33.00 – 37.00/hr per hour
