Maintenance Supervisor Technician (2nd/3rd shift) in Detroit

Metropolitan Baking Company is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Supervisor Technician at our facility in Hamtramck, Michigan. Machine Repair - Maintenance Supervisor Technician This position requires the technical skills to manage, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment, enforce safety regulations, and lead a maintenance team. Evaluate maintenance needs Direct workers or assist in diagnosing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Interpret company policies and enforce OSHA and company safety regulations Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders and assign duties to workers Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules Troubleshoot issues Repair and install bakery and food processing equipment Mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge Maintain conveyors and physical structures Perform preventative maintenance Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Position start time roughly 3:00 - 4:00 PM. In addition, the Maintenance Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely on mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-speed production environment.
