Job Description
As a Security Officer Welcome Center in Tinton, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor the lobby, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this highly visible role, you will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that values integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and visitor information, issue access credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
- Answer phones, greet guests, manage sign-in records, and communicate with building contacts regarding deliveries, appointments, and/or visitor arrivals.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate concerns through appropriate site contacts and reporting channels.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, documenting front desk activity, and following emergency response instructions when appropriate.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor reception tasks, and access-related support at the front desk.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
