Description - What Your Role Entails

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot errors, and carry out maintenance as well as calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for testing purposes as required.
• Document procedures in detail, provide training for new personnel or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, complemented by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be attained within one year of employment.
• Continue to hold the relevant certification throughout your tenure.
