Job Description

About the Team

EZUNI is a Washington, DC-based startup building a campus marketplace app that connects George Washington University students with trusted help for errands and everyday tasks. Built by students, for students, our platform makes campus life easier by matching students with reliable people who can get things done.

We are now expanding into professional room cleaning, and we are hiring our first team of cleaners to launch this service on campus.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for experienced, dependable cleaning professionals to deliver high-quality cleaning services to GWU students in their residence hall rooms and apartments. Jobs are booked through the EZUNI app and typically take one to two hours. Services include:

• Standard room cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying
• Bathroom and kitchenette sanitation
• Trash and recycling removal
• Deep cleaning during peak periods, including move-in, move-out, and end of semester

This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule, starting at 10–20 hours per week. As one of our founding cleaners, you will play a direct role in shaping how the service operates and grows.

Why Work With Us

• Competitive pay of 22–26 per hour, based on experience
• Flexible scheduling, so you choose the shifts that work for you
• Paid training on EZUNI's cleaning standards and app
• Cleaning supplies and equipment provided [remove if not]
• Jobs concentrated around the GWU campus, keeping travel between bookings minimal
• Opportunity to grow with an early-stage company as the service expands

Who We Look For

We value reliability and professionalism above all. Because our cleaners work in students' personal living spaces, trust is at the core of everything we do. We are looking for candidates who bring:

• At least 1 year of professional cleaning experience (residential, hotel housekeeping, or short-term rental turnover preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in their work
• Punctuality, dependability, and clear communication
• Respect for clients' privacy and personal belongings
• A smartphone to receive and manage bookings through the EZUNI app
• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States

If you take pride in your work and want flexible, well-paid hours with a growing local company, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today to become one of EZUNI's founding cleaning professionals.

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
