CFS Opportunity: Staff Accountant
Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid, 1 Day Remote After Onboarding)
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 + Up to 5% Bonus

• The Staff Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of business entities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Process payroll, banking transactions, and general ledger activity.
• Serve as a key accounting contact for operational stakeholders.
• Assist with integrating newly acquired entities into accounting systems and processes.
• Support financial reporting, process improvement projects, and automation initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills required; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Experience with payroll and multi-entity accounting is preferred.
• Highly organized professional with strong communication and analytical skills.
