Translate drawings/submittal packages from Design Teams into executable format for Manufacturing Team. Organize company projects for production. Format engineering files for production. Format/organize CNC files. Create schedules. Revise nesting layouts for maximum output. Review a pre-determined checklist for each project, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Organize parts for packaging/assembly. What Makes You Successful Communicates effectively, both verbally and written. Understands requirements for production. Willing to train with Design Team at the Firehouse. Willing to learn new programs (e.g., Rhino). Well organized and detail oriented. Possesses strong mathematical skills. Qualifications High school diploma required. What Makes You Stand Out Associate or bachelor’s degree. 2+ years of work experience in drafting, millwork, cabinetry or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment. Physical and Mental Demands Required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms. Occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Work Environment Office Environment – professional office, standard equipment; no PPE required. Plant Environment – manufacturing setting, extreme temperatures, uneven surfaces, tools, loud noises, dusty/dirty conditions; PPE includes hard hat (when required), safety glasses, earplugs, steel toe/composite boots, fall protection.
