The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity environments and be able to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department. /n - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment. /n - Administer medications and provide interventions for various common diagnoses, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac events. /n - Operate specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. /n - Work with a variety of patients across the lifespan, effectively addressing their unique needs. /n - Participate in floating to different areas within the department as required. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department. /n - Experience with pediatric patients is preferred. /n - Current New York State RN license is required. /n - Current certification in AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. /n - Travel experience is required; candidates should provide documentation of prior travel assignments. /n - Skills checklist matching the specialty must be submitted. /n - Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC. /n - Driver's license with the address matching the demographic requirements is mandatory. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
