Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements
- Active Nursing License in NY
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- TNCC certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) with some pediatric experience
- Travel experience required
- EMR Experience: EPIC
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with address that matches demographics

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and document patients' conditions and needs accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring for side effects.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
- Float to other areas of the facility as needed.
