Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Brenham, TX area! This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to work with a small, manageable caseload of children ages 3 through elementary level. You’ll provide therapy across several schools utilizing well-equipped conference rooms, and play a vital role in supporting students’ growth and success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Texas Occupational Therapy license is required
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric OT settings strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy techniques for various needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to a total caseload of 22 students (across multiple campuses)
• Utilize your own therapy materials and equipment for sessions
• Complete thorough IEP/ARD documentation as required
• Collaborate with staff and families; participate in ARD meetings
• Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring for assigned students
• Develop and implement evidence-based, creative treatment plans in a supportive setting
