Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students ages 3 through elementary as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This role offers a rewarding caseload of 22 students, providing vital therapy services across multiple locations. With a flexible schedule of 1-2 days per week totaling approximately 8 hours weekly (about 30-35 hours per month), you’ll find a wonderful balance of impactful work and personal time.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Texas OT License is required
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with children (preferred)
• Ability to provide your own therapy materials and equipment
• Strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation
• Experience writing IEPs, attending ARD meetings, and conducting OT evaluations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
• Utilize on-site conference rooms for therapy sessions
• Complete and maintain all ARD/IEP documentation in a timely manner
• Conduct student evaluations to develop and monitor individualized goals
• Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with educators and families
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment to enhance student development

This contract position is set to begin immediately, continuing through June 4, 2027, with the possibility of extension for the following school year. Compensation for this role is between $45 and $50 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
