Switchgear Design Engineer

Switchgear Design Engineer for a leading manufacturer based near New Berlin, WI. Responsible to design, validate, and bring new transfer switch products to market.

This is a direct hire job opportunity within a growing organization.

responsibilities:

Designs, validates, and brings new transfer switch products
Supports transfer switch products from concept through mass production
Specifies precise new product functional requirements
Designs, tests and integrates a variety of increasingly complex components to produce final designs
Utilizes CAD or CAE systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings
Optimize increasingly complex designs for manufacturability

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
Must have at least five (5) years of design engineering experience
Experience in mechanism design
Experience in switchgear design
3D modeling expericne (Pro/E, CREO or SolidWorks)

Minimum 5 years of experience
Education: Bachelors (required)
