Registered Nurse Oncology

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. Job Qualifications Minimum Education Graduate of an RN training Program. Preferred Education Oncology experience preferred. Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications Minimum one year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications N/A Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation Valid State of California Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Current Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire) Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire) Chemotherapy Certificate (must be obtained within 90 days of hire) Shift Information Status: Per Diem (PT2) Shift: Nights Hours: 12 hrs (6:45pm - 7:15am) Weekly/Bi-Weekly Hours: 12 hrs/24 hrs FTE: 0.3 #J-18808-Ljbffr
