Registered Nurse - Telemetry/PCU - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The role encompasses providing care to a primarily mixed patient population in a Telemetry/PCU setting. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills and have a patient-focused attitude while managing a varied caseload of patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for MS Tele/PCU patients, adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry data, providing timely interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies according to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and updates in the Cerner charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting is required.
• Active PA or Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Cerner charting experience is preferred.
