Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role is responsible for managing and growing Red Apple Group’s social media presence across multiple platforms, including planning and publishing posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. The Social Media Manager will develop and execute content strategies that align with brand objectives, coordinate with internal teams to source content, and ensure messaging is consistent and accurate. Day-to-day tasks include tracking performance metrics, optimizing campaigns, creating and editing copy and visuals, and staying current with social media trends and platform updates. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and communications colleagues to support broader campaigns and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to manage campaigns and improve reach and engagement.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills for crafting clear, compelling, and brand-aligned messages.
• Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to plan, organize, and adapt social content based on goals and performance data.
• Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., native platform insights, third-party tools) and basic understanding of paid social campaigns is beneficial.
• Relevant experience managing business or brand social accounts, preferably in a multi-industry or corporate environment, is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
