Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney in Westlake Village, CA. The ideal candidate will provide strategic counsel and representation to employers in California, focusing on defending against various employment-related claims and navigating complex legal challenges. Duties Defend against discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Handle wage and hour defense, including PAGA claims and Labor Code violations. Manage EEOC, CRD, and DLSE investigations. Address wrongful termination and whistleblower claims. Conduct PAGA defense and manage class actions. Review employee handbooks and develop policies. Requirements Experience in pleadings, law and motion, discovery, and trial work. Admitted to the California State Bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California State Bar admission. Skills Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
