• Prepare freight invoices and billing documentation, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments within established credit terms.
• Maintain compliance with internal operating standards, applicable customs requirements, and relevant government regulations.
• Assess existing processes and recommend improvements that promote accuracy, efficiency, and consistent service quality.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and document service exceptions, including missed milestones and delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to meet productivity goals and maintain high service standards.
• Coordinate with international offices and sales teams to support existing customer relationships and contribute to new business opportunities.
• Assist department management with operational questions and complex account matters when additional expertise is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least five years of experience in air import operations, international freight forwarding, or a closely related logistics field.
• Background in transportation, international trade, supply chain management, or global logistics.

• Strong customer service and communication skills, including professional written correspondence and effective phone and electronic communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external customers, and international business partners.
• Previous experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory capacity is beneficial but not required.
