This role offers a mix of accounts payable, administrative, and general accounting responsibilities while working closely with the accounting and project teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career within a stable and expanding organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.Assist with vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records.Set up new vendors and maintain W-9 documentation and vendor files.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.Assist with accounts receivable, payment posting, and general accounting support as needed.Maintain accurate financial records within Sage 300.Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.Communicate with vendors, project managers, and internal departments regarding invoices and payment status.Provide general administrative support to the accounting department and assist with special projects.Preferred Qualifications1-3 years of accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience.Construction industry experience preferred.Experience with Sage 300 or similar ERP/accounting software preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.Why This Opportunity Stands OutJoin an actively growing construction company with a strong reputation.Gain experience across accounts payable and general accounting functions.Work closely with an experienced accounting team in a collaborative environment.Opportunity to build your accounting skills while supporting a growing business.Stable, full-time position with opportunities for professional growth.
