Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic medical conditions in cooperation with physicians or autonomously (based on your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and their families focused on prevention, wellness, and effective management of diseases
• Prescribing medication and therapies within the scope of your practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care
• Accurately documenting patient information using electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
