Projects may include assuming operation of college bookstores, launching retail within collegiate athletic venues, and other partnership-driven growth initiatives.This position serves as the central point of coordination from project kickoff through launch and stabilization, aligning internal teams and external partners to ensure operational requirements are completed on time. This team member brings structure to new opportunities and takes ownership of turning business concepts into successful operating realities.ResponsibilitiesLead new business and partnership projects from kickoff through launch and stabilizationDevelop and manage project plans, milestones, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverablesServe as the primary project liaison between Rally House teams, institutional partners, vendors, and other stakeholdersLead implementation of college bookstore operations, collegiate athletic venue retail, and other partnership-driven conceptsCoordinate cross-functional workstreams including Operations, Merchandising, Inventory, IT, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Store Development, and Loss PreventionTranslate partnership requirements into actionable operational plans and launch prioritiesCoordinate site, inventory, technology, equipment, signage, supplies, and other operational readiness requirementsManage launch readiness around fixed opening dates, athletic seasons, events, and partner commitmentsTrack project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive timely resolution of issuesMaintain clear communication and visibility to project status, decisions, responsibilities, and upcoming milestonesProvide on-site leadership during transitions, launches, and major events as neededLead post-launch stabilization and transition ongoing ownership to the appropriate operational teamManage multiple strategic projects simultaneously based on business priorities and timelinesSupport additional strategic growth initiatives and special projects as assignedSkills and KnowledgeAbility to manage multiple priorities and fixed deadlines in a fast-paced environment, Comfortable working through ambiguity and evolving project requirements, Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence without direct authority, Strong project planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving skillsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, or related field preferred3–5 years of project management, retail operations, implementation, or related experience preferredExperience launching new locations, partnerships, or business initiatives preferredRetail, collegiate retail, venue operations, or multi-unit experience preferredAbility to travel and work outside traditional business hours as needed for launches and eventsPhysical RequirementsAbility to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipmentAble to clearly view and read information on a computer screenOccasionally lift or move items up to 15 poundsLocation and Travel RequirementsOn-site in Lenexa, KSMust be able to travel and work outside traditional business hours as needed for launches and eventsPay Range$80,000.00 - $95,000.00
