Overview Presbyterian Hospital is hiring New Grad nurses for our hospitals in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Responsibilities Presbyterian provides a year‑long Transition to Practice Nurse Residency Program for newly graduated nurses who are interested in starting their professional career. Residents will obtain continuing education credits upon completion of the program. Program participation is required at Presbyterian Hospital, Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital, Presbyterian Rust Medical Center, PRESNow locations and Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center in the following units: Critical Care Emergency Department Progressive Care Medical/Surgical Care Family Birthing and Mother/Baby Care Pediatric Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Inpatient Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Operating Room Qualifications Education: Minimum associate degree in nursing. Degree from an accredited academic nursing program preferred. Credentials: Registered Nurse licensed in New Mexico. State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire. Experience: Students approaching graduation and newly licensed nurses, graduating from an accredited college within 12 months are welcome to apply. Preferred Licensure: BSN preferred.
