Key Position Details $7,500 Starting Bonus available to eligible external talent 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two‑week pay period) Variable day/evening shifts Every 8th weekend rotation Scheduled Monday and Tuesday evenings until 8PM Supports coverage at nearby locations as needed Clinic hours: Monday–Friday 7am–8pm; Saturday–Sunday 8:45am–5:15pm Job Description Performs and assists with procedures in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning under the direction of the radiologist, providing timely and quality services to patients. Follows Imaging Department policies to maintain a safe, efficient and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure. Responsibilities Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines Identifies patient with two identifiers Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure Observes and communicates with patients, responding to needs Maintains a safe patient environment in the procedure area Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment Maintains work knowledge and competence Gathers all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images Verifies all imaging has appropriately transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system Provides accurate clerical functions using Excellian (electronic medical record) Understands the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System Ensures all documentation is complete post procedure Communicates with supervisor and team Reports problems, issues, or ideas Provides assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others Other duties as assigned Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology (Required) Preferred: Advanced Registration in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) Preferred: 1 year of cardiac CT experience (for Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute locations) Licenses and Certifications Registered Technologist – The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (Required) Must meet at least ONE of the following: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross Allina in‑house BLS training (within 30days of hire) Physical Demands Medium work: Lifting weight up to 32lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy); up to 25lbs. frequently. Pay Range $38.52 to $52.80 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend, and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
