Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorWe are seeking dedicated quality inspectors to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis across various shifts. The role involves ensuring quality levels throughout production stages by inspecting finished products for defects. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, especially those with previous inspection experience in electronic manufacturing. We welcome entry-level candidates who possess high attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various production stages.Visually inspect sub-assemblies and HLA level products using magnifiers or other tools.Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify causes of quality issues.Enter standardized information into GSF.Supervise work area in accordance with 5S standards.Keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when necessary.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand tools for electronic assembly and quality inspection.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Basic computer skills including navigating programs, using basic Excel for documentation, and Outlook experience.Great attitude and willingness to be flexible.Desire to progress and build a career in quality inspection.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced reading, writing, and math skills (12th grade level).Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.Must complete training and become certified for Quality Assurance within six months of obtaining the position.Familiarity with applicable software packages.Physical ability to handle and inspect PCBs, including specific vision requirements for inspection tasks.Why Work Here?Join a national company operating in exciting industries such as space, medical, and defense. Personal protective equipment is required. Shifts vary, including options for daytime and nighttime hours. The role involves physical stamina, manual dexterity, and fine motor control, with frequent use of magnifiers and vision systems. Expect a mix of standing and sitting, with occasional lifting and material movement tasks. The role also includes repetitive computer tasks across various software platforms.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
