Mailroom Coordinator

The Mailroom Coordinator is responsible for assisting customers with service needs, troubleshooting freight issues, creating customer billing and freight claims, picking up orders, and delivering mail to the post office. They will also be responsible for sorting, processing, and delivering mail within the company, handling daily parcel deliveries, packing and processing parcels for shipping, staging, delivering, and retrieving parcels for conferences and functions. Additionally, the Coordinator will work directly with groups to coordinate shipping needs, ensure high-quality customer relations, and collaborate with the Mailroom supervisor and accounts payable for payments of freight bills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in logistics is a plus
• Proven experience in a mailroom or shipping coordinator role
• Familiarity with shipping software and systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve freight issues efficiently
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move heavy parcels
• Collaborative team player with a customer-centric approach
