Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students during a maternity leave coverage as a School Psychologist serving middle school learners. Located in the Maple Park, IL region, this full-time opportunity runs from October 1, 2026 through December 2026, providing essential psychological services to help students thrive.

We're seeking a dedicated professional with the skills and expertise to address the needs of middle school students. Leveraging your training and passion for student development, you will collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active School Psychologist licensure for the state of Illinois is required
• Experience working with middle school students in educational settings preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of psychological assessments, consulting, and intervention planning
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with both students and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work onsite throughout the duration of the contract

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data for instructional and behavioral planning
• Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to address student learning and emotional needs
• Assist with crisis intervention and the development of behavioral support plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective educational strategies
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies and regulations
