Remote Senior Software Engineer

Company Overview Alignment Health is a data and technology-driven healthcare product company focused on partnering with health systems, health plans, and provider groups to provide preventive, convenient, and coordinated care for seniors. The company is experiencing rapid growth and seeks advanced .NET software developers to build next-generation care delivery models for seniors. Responsibilities Provide expertise on system architecture, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operation of enterprise-level software applications. Analyze and decompose complex software requirements into simple stories for planning and execution, working directly with product management and the team. Collaborate with the team to manage and estimate the size and complexity of features. Perform technical design, implementation, and testing of features and commit to stories that can be accomplished in an iteration. Act as the technical leader for product features, ensuring coordinated development activities throughout the cycle. Own system and feature quality throughout testing and deployment phases to meet delivery expectations. Drive value and continuously improve the quality of the team’s deliverables. Conduct new technology research, proofs of concept, and design work to direct system and product enhancements. Contribute to software engineering best practices for design, coding standards, performance, security, delivery, and maintainability. Minimum Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in software development. 5+ years leveraging C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and ASP.NET Web API. 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. 3+ years of experience with Web Services lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy), API versioning, and architecture. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including database design and access approaches. Experience developing enterprise-level web applications using Microsoft technologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Hunger to learn, intense technical curiosity, critical thinking, and solutions orientation. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture or Development Certifications. Experience with design and development of microservices. Healthcare domain software development experience. Experience developing, delivering, and supporting publicly facing web applications. Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) best practices. Experience developing with .NET Core. Experience with scrum methodology and understanding of common design patterns. Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Benefits Pay Range: $130,332.00 - $195,498.00 (may vary based on market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.).
