Senior Attorney Liens

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney in Los Angeles to join their team. The role involves leveraging legal expertise in personal injury, medical case management, liens, and subrogation to maximize client recoveries post-settlement. Duties Provide leadership and guidance to Liens Negotiators and Assistants. Communicate and negotiate with medical providers and lienholders. Train staff on negotiating and documenting liens. Resolve outstanding liens to maximize client recovery. Stay informed of lien laws and regulations. Assist clients with lien-related inquiries. Draft correspondence and legal memoranda on lien matters. Collaborate with litigation, settlement, and accounting teams. Requirements Strong knowledge of Personal Injury Liens. 5+ years of experience in personal injury or healthcare lien resolution. Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes preferred. Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar preferred. Experience with governmental and private insurance lien resolution. Experience writing department processes and procedures preferred. Experience in a plaintiff's law firm preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California Bar License preferred. Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills.
