Position Overview

We are seeking an executive Sales Director based in Phoenix, AZ, reporting directly to the VP of Sales at Corporate Headquarters. This role is dedicated to driving regional revenue growth by managing, optimizing, and empowering our 3 authorized, long‑term distributor partners. Rather than expanding channel count, the focus is on maximizing sell‑through velocity, joint demand planning, and maintaining market stability across our existing distribution network.

Core Responsibilities (Distribution Focus)

1. Strategic Distributor Management & Governance

Core Partner Management: Serve as the primary executive contact for our 3 exclusive distributor partners, strengthening long‑term commercial relationships.

Sell‑Through Optimization: Collaborate with distributor leadership to drive end‑market sell‑through, joint account mapping, and commercial activation across major regional brands and MSOs.

Market & Pricing Integrity: Enforce regional pricing strategies, clear territorial boundaries, and channel policies across all 3 partners to prevent cross‑region friction or margin erosion.

Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Lead formal quarterly performance and strategy alignment reviews with executive teams from each distributor.

2. Demand Forecasting & HQ Supply Chain Alignment

Joint Demand Planning: Execute monthly and quarterly rolling inventory forecasts in close coordination with all 3 distributors.

HQ Supply Chain Liaison: Deliver precise demand signals to Corporate HQ supply chain teams to optimize factory production schedules, maintain local safety stock, and prevent supply gaps.

Executive Reporting: Provide regular sell‑through, inventory level, and market dynamics updates to the VP of Sales at Headquarters.

Qualifications

Channel Expertise: 8+ years of commercial sales experience in consumer hardware, consumer electronics, or technical B2B sectors, with a proven track record in high‑touch distributor channel management.

Distribution Strategy: Deep knowledge of two‑step distribution, channel economics, margin frameworks, and joint business planning.

HQ Collaboration: Experience working within multi‑national corporate structures and reporting directly to executive management at headquarters.
