Registered Nurse – Float Pool

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Contract Length: 13 weeks

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Delivers coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates patient care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.
• Adapts to various units and patient needs as required within the Float Pool.
• Participates in ongoing education and training related to nursing practices and patient care.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures while providing safe patient care.
