Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 8
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
• Current BLS certification: Required
• Current nursing license per the state of assignment: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze relevant patient health data to determine care issues and develop plans of care.
• Implement care plans and evaluate patients' progress towards outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and healing environment.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients and families during their care.
