About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its philanthropic enterprise and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be a strategic, relationship-driven, and mission-oriented executive with a proven track record in leadership, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement within a complex, mission-driven environment. The CEO will serve as the primary leader and ambassador, guiding the organization's strategic direction, and strengthening its philanthropic efforts to support cutting-edge research in public health, particularly in the areas of obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. This role is pivotal in ensuring strong alignment between philanthropic priorities and scientific advancement, and the ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to build meaningful partnerships and elevate the Foundation's role in supporting transformative scientific discovery. Key responsibilities for the CEO include working closely with the Board of Directors, major donors, and key stakeholders, as well as building a high-performing team and cultivating a strong culture of philanthropy. The role demands a leader who is comfortable with both long-term vision and near-term execution, and who can maintain a visible and engaged presence within the organization and the broader community. The CEO will be instrumental in shaping the Foundation's future and advancing solutions that improve and extend lives, and as such, a deep commitment to the mission of the organization and the ability to operate at the intersection of strategy, philanthropy, and scientific advancement are essential.
