Note: Candidates must have 2+ years of directly relevant public accounting tax experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting. An active CPA license or demonstrated progress toward obtaining the CPA is expected. Confidential Employer. Job Description Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns, quarterly estimates, and tax provisions. Work directly with clients on corporate, partnership, and individual tax matters. Research tax issues and help develop practical, effective tax strategies. Communicate with federal, state, and local tax authorities to resolve client tax matters. Participate in client meetings and develop trusted professional relationships. Review work and provide guidance, training, and leadership to Tax Staff. Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and strong client service. Collaborate closely with partners and other professionals across the firm. Qualifications 2+ years of public accounting tax experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting. Active CPA license or actively working toward CPA licensure. Experience preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns. Strong tax research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong technology skills; CCH Axcess experience is a plus.
