Mountain View Care Center , an 87-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Boulder City, NV is seeking an enthusiastic PRNOccupational Therapist to join the in-house rehab team! Just 20 minutes outside of Henderson, this is a great opportunity with a dynamic rehab team! Rated 4 STAR Overall for short-term rehab! Looking for supplemental 10 hours/week. Responsibilities Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized care plans. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities in daily living activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and case managers, to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and strategies for continued improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with facility policies. Provide support and guidance to patients with disabilities, ensuring a caring and empathetic approach throughout the therapeutic process. Stay updated on the latest practices in occupational therapy, anatomy, physiology, and case management. Requirements A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient settings. Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
