Project Manager

The Court Surfacing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all court surfacing operations from mobilization through completion. This role focuses strictly on surfacing-related work including preparation, coatings, striping, quality control, scheduling, and crew performance. Project Execution & Scheduling Plan, schedule, and manage daily surfacing operations across all active job sites. Coordinate prep crews, surfacing crews, and striping crews to maintain production flow. Ensure projects are completed per approved scope of work and schedule. Adjust manpower and sequencing as needed to avoid downtime or delays. Perform final surfacing walk-throughs prior to client turnover. Quality Control Ensure proper surface preparation including crack repair, leveling, and patching. Verify correct application of acrylic coatings, textures, colors, and line striping. Monitor material mixing ratios, application methods, cure times, and weather conditions. Maintain consistent finish quality across all courts and projects. Address punch‑list items and surfacing warranty issues promptly. Material & Equipment Oversight Track daily material usage and minimize waste. Confirm correct materials and quantities are delivered to each job site. Ensure surfacing equipment is job-ready and properly maintained. Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed. Crew Management & Training Lead surfacing crews and hold them accountable to production and quality standards. Train new hires on Armor Courts surfacing methods, safety, and workmanship standards. Retrain crew members when quality, productivity, or safety issues arise. Maintain jobsite cleanliness and professional appearance at all times. Safety & Jobsite Standards Enforce jobsite safety procedures specific to surfacing operations. Identify and correct safety hazards immediately. Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and professional. Communication & Reporting Provide daily progress updates to management. Serve as on-site point of contact when required. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Projects completed on schedule or ahead of schedule. Courts completed per crew per week. Number of surfacing-related warranty callbacks. Punch-list items per project. Material waste and overuse percentage. Crew productivity and efficiency. Safety incidents or near misses.
