Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, tailoring therapeutic approaches that best meet their unique circumstances. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider clients' goals, preferences, and co-occurring issues, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, focusing on techniques that promote open communication, emotional healing, and effective coping strategies for individuals and families. Educate clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, fostering empowerment and resilience. Regularly monitor client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changing needs and improving outcomes. Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients and holistic treatment approaches. Maintain accurate and confidential records, abiding by legal and ethical standards, and upholding the privacy of all clients. Actively participate in professional development, staying current with the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health. Advocate for clients and work towards breaking the stigma surrounding mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role is on individuals and families dealing with relationship distress, divorce, and mood disorders. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, reflecting a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications Active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a strong educational background that supports clinical practice. Empathy and a nonjudgmental approach are essential to address clients' experiences and facilitate meaningful therapeutic relationships. Strong organizational and time-management skills are crucial for effective workload management and to meet administrative responsibilities efficiently. Preferred Experience Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, especially those pertaining to family dynamics, conflict resolution, and mood disorders. Prior experience working remotely or in a teletherapy setting is preferred, showcasing adaptability to different formats of therapy. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation effectively. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
