Feldco Windows, Siding, Doors, and Roofing, Chicagoland’s #1 home improvement company, is seeking a full-time Assistant Sales Manager to support our Greater Chicagoland Area. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this individual will assist with the day-to-day management and development of the sales team, while gaining the leadership experience and skills necessary to advance into a Sales Manager role. This position will support sales operations throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area and will play an integral role in driving sales performance, developing team members, and ensuring Feldco’s sales standards and expectations are consistently met.

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Location: Greater Chicagoland Area

• Hours: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4:30 PM; must be available to provide phone support to Sales Representatives during evening appointments and/or on Saturdays based on business needs.

• Salary: $50,000 base salary with bonus & commission opportunities, with total earning potential of $75,000+.

The Job:

This position will begin with Feldco’s comprehensive Sales Training Program. The role will also include a rotational program through various departments within the organization to develop a well-rounded understanding of Feldco’s business and operations. This key leadership role will support the vision, strategy, and overall leadership of Feldco’s Sales Team, with the opportunity to develop into a future leader, mentor, entrepreneur, and change agent within the organization. This position is designed as a career-development opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruiting, onboarding, developing, and managing a high-performing sales team

• Lead in a high-performance, high-reward environment with aggressive growth objectives

• Maximize lead-to-sale conversion while generating referral and repeat business

• Drive hands-on market development and support supplemental lead generation efforts

• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Customer Care, and other departments

• Achieve or exceed all departmental KPIs, revenue targets, and company standards

• Provide real-time phone coaching and closing support to sales representatives

• Consistently deliver exceptional customer delight, both internally and externally

• Design, implement, and lead process improvements through training and leadership

• Monitor, evaluate, and improve system efficiency and team productivity

• Interfacing with customers, face-to-face and via phone, to exceed all metrics relating to Customer Delight.

• Hiring and onsite training of sales reps and other personnel as needed.

• Regularly performing ride alongs with sales team virtually and/or in person

• Resulting appointments on a daily basis

• Fill in for Sales Managers when they are unavailable to ensure smooth and uninterrupted sales service

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local policies, procedures, and regulations

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of successful sales experience preferred; home improvement or high-ticket sales experience is a plus.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

• Previous leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience preferred.

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Highly motivated, competitive, and results-oriented with a strong desire to grow into a Sales Manager or General Manager role.

• Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area.

• Must be willing to work evenings and/or Saturdays as needed by the business.
