Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for clients and create comprehensive treatment plans that reflect their unique challenges and goals.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored specifically to individual client needs.

• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, including coordinating referrals and engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Stay up-to-date with current best practices in mental health by participating in continuing education sessions and training workshops.

• Develop innovative approaches to program development that enhance our mental health offerings and improve client outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in distress, ensuring their immediate safety and support.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes in HIPAA-compliant electronic medical records, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health and the services offered at Good Life Psychological Services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. Our clients reflect diverse backgrounds, and the ability to provide culturally competent care is essential. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated strength in building trusting relationships and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and providing high-quality mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of counseling experience, particularly with individuals addressing emotional and psychological challenges.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, enhancing efficiency in documentation and client tracking.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications.
