Shift Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION:Availability: Flexible, including weekends. Must be 18 or older to apply for this role. Hourly Rate: $13-14/hour base pay + tips* (Approximately $2-3 per hour in tips)Shifts: Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (Not every weekend, but willing to rotate).Responsibilities:As a Shift Lead, you'll play a vital role in creating a delightful experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:Baking and packaging cookies with precision and care.Providing exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor.Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.Participating in tasks such as folding boxes, restocking, and other duties assigned by the manager.No previous kitchen experience required; training will be provided.Possessing or obtaining a current Food Manager Certificate is mandatory.As a Shift Lead at our bakery, you will be entrusted with important responsibilities that keep our operations running smoothly. You'll serve as a point of contact during your shifts, ensuring the bakery's success and maintaining a positive experience for customers and fellow team members alike.Requirements:To succeed in this role, you should have:Ability to accurately handle and package cookies, perform cashier duties, and contribute to kitchen operations.Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.Customer service experience is a bonus but not essential.A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service and fostering a safe and empowering work atmosphere.Physical Requirements:You'll need to be physically capable of:Occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs (flour, sugar, etc.).Standing, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, walking, and leaning throughout your shift.Repetitive motion of wrists/arms during baking tasks.Maneuvering quickly in a confined space around hot ovens.Taking visual and audible cues for efficient operations.Why Join Us:At Cookie Society, we're growing fastand we're looking for team members who want to grow with us.
