Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN)

The Cardiovascular nurse is responsible and accountable for all nursing care provided to their patients. The nurse is accountable to the patient, Department Manager, Department Director, Medical Director, and Chief Nurse Officer. Under the direction of the Department Manager and Medical Director, the Cardiovascular nurse is responsible for assisting the cardiologist and other allied professionals, both technically and clinically in the assessment, planning, executing and evaluating the care of cardiac patients. The Cardiovascular nurse must be willing to cross train and float to other cardiac service areas to meet the needs of the facility.

Qualifications RN Job Requirements: Graduate of an RN program accredited through the ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA Current registered nurses license in the State of Florida Minimum of two (2) year's Level 2 Cardiac Cath experience preferred. Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS Willingness to be cross trained to other areas CCRN preferred Basic computer skills
