Pay & Benefits $75,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience) Company vehicle Up to 6 weeks paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company paid long- and short-term disability coverage Life insurance Position Summary We are seeking an Electrical Safety Manager to develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's electrical safety program. This role services as the subject-matter expert for electrical hazards and safe work practices. The Electrical Safety Manager drives proactive safety behaviors, reduces risk, and embeds electrical safety into daily work execution. Key Responsibilities Establish and lead a safety-first culture where safety is owned by field leadership Serve as a visible safety leader through regular job site visits and field engagement Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive electrical safety programs Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and state and local safety regulations Create and maintain safety policies, procedures, and SOPs Conduct job site safety audits and inspections across all Bertke (OH & KY) locations Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Implement weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks Develop and deliver electrical safety training programs for technicians and leaders Own and administer the KPA safety system Track and report EMR, OSHA metrics, training completion, and incidents Serve as safety point of contact for client onboarding, audits, and prequalification Partner with leaders, service managers, and field leadership to improve safety performance Required Skills & Qualifications 5-7 years of industrial or electrical safety experience Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and NFPA 70E Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Ability to complete OSHA documentation and reporting Valid driver's license with clean driving record Willingness to travel regularly to job sites
