Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Technician

Charleston, SC | Full-Time

Already Working in Electrical, Telecom, or Low Voltage?

Take your skills to the next level by learning one of the most specialized and in-demand segments of the industry: fire alarm and life safety systems.

We're looking for a technician with experience in construction, electrical work, low voltage, telecommunications, maintenance, or cabling who wants to expand their technical expertise and build a long-term career.

Previous fire alarm experience is not required. We'll provide training and mentorship to help you develop specialized skills that can accelerate your career growth.

What You'll Do

• Install and service fire alarm and low-voltage systems
• Pull, terminate, and test cabling
• Replace devices and assist with system upgrades
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify solutions in the field
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project drawings
• Support commercial and school renovation projects
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Experience in electrical, telecom, low voltage, maintenance, or construction
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Valid driver's license
• Professional attitude and dependable work ethic

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
