Employment Type "Casual Employee" (per diem, hourly clinician role) 8–23 patient care hours per week Benefits ineligible What You’ll Be Working On Seeing patients with a broad array of needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel‑building role) Treating patients in‑office and occasionally conducting tele‑health visits Collaborating with in‑office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams Utilizing your specific clinical training and performing in‑office procedures when appropriate Education, Licenses, and Experiences Required for This Role Enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary‑care setting Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. If not yet board‑certified, you must be board‑eligible or have completed a residency program within the last calendar year and be scheduled to take the next available board exam State licensed in Massachusetts, obtained before your One Medical start date One Medical Providers Also Demonstrate A passion for human‑centered primary care Strong communication skills with patients of all backgrounds Effective use of technology to deliver high‑quality care Clinical proficiency in evidence‑based primary care Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery Openness to feedback and reflection for growth Confidence navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs Casual/Per Diem Providers Receive Malpractice insurance – malpractice fees covered 100% UpToDate subscription – evidence‑based clinical research tool One Medical‑issued laptop for secure EHR access Sick time PTO eligible in accordance with local requirements This is an hourly role based in Boston, Massachusetts. The hourly rate for this role is $150.00. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient‑care schedule. Additional pay may be available for candidates who exceed the specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package may also include benefits.
