JOB SUMMARY:

Report directly to Recreation Supervisor. Work in cooperation with the Recreation Supervisor in scheduling of program dates, location, etc. Design, plan, and implement program content. Be capable to instruct all aspects of program, as well as oversee instructors or aides. Complete all accident forms and report to supervisor. Maintain for the safety of all participants. Maintain open communication with all staff and patrons of the program. Responsible for security, if applicable, and cleanliness of the program area at conclusion of program. Record all hours worked as directed by supervisor. Take attendance at each class and ensure that program waivers are signed by all participants. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

21 years of age or older High school diploma or GED equivalent Prior instructor or coordinator experience desired

License/certificate pertaining to program
