Payroll Clerk

Job Description Job Description Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk with hands-on payroll processing experience to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll during a critical transitional period. This role requires independent execution, strong Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage payroll data with minimal oversight. Success means zero payroll errors, strict deadline adherence, and seamless payroll continuity for employees. Location Fort Worth, TX | Onsite Compensation & Schedule $24/hour 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Temporary (2–3 months) Start ASAP Key Responsibilities Process full-cycle payroll transactions accurately and on schedule Review, audit, and reconcile payroll data prior to submission Manage payroll adjustments, deductions, and corrections Maintain payroll compliance and respond to internal inquiries Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of payroll processing experience Proficiency in payroll systems and intermediate Excel skills (formulas, data review) Proven ability to meet strict payroll deadlines with high accuracy Core Tools & Systems Payroll software / HRIS platforms Microsoft Excel (data validation, reporting) Standard office systems Preferred Skills Experience supporting multi-employee or multi-department payroll Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to quickly adapt to established payroll processes Legal Notice By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
