Clinical Role

Join an established vascular surgery team in Toledo, Ohio, providing inpatient vascular surgery coverage across multiple hospital facilities. This locums opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to care for adult patients in both a Level I Trauma Center and affiliated community hospitals.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

No call required

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

Hospital-based inpatient vascular surgery

Coverage at multiple facilities

Level I Trauma Center and affiliated community hospitals

Patient Population:

Adult patients

Patient Volume:

Approximately 12-15 patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities:

Daily inpatient vascular surgery rounding

Emergency Department vascular surgery consultations

Inpatient consultations

Evaluation and management of vascular surgery patients

Collaboration with vascular surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams

Care coordination across multiple hospital locations

Patient Mix:

100% inpatient care and Emergency Department consultations

No outpatient clinic responsibilities

Support & Technology

Support Staff:

Established vascular surgery team

Hospital nursing and ancillary staff

Multidisciplinary inpatient services

Requirements

Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Required

Active Ohio License - Required

BLS Certification - Required

ACLS Certification - Required

DEA Registration - Required

Local candidate - Preferred
