Litigation Associate

Responsibilities The successful candidate will independently handle all phases of litigation, including: Drafting and responding to written discovery Taking and defending depositions Preparing, drafting, and arguing motions Participating in court conferences and oral arguments Managing case strategy and day‑to‑day litigation responsibilities Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court Collaborating with partners and litigation teams on complex matters Why KD? Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of defense litigation experience Admitted to practice in New York Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Compensation Base Salary Range: $135,000 – $160,000 Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job‑related qualifications.
