Depending on each client's needs, you may: Help with bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers Support good skin care and encourage movement Provide medication reminders Assist with range‑of‑motion activities as outlined in the care plan Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and clean up the kitchen Complete light housekeeping and laundry Provide companionship and socialization Provide transportation to appointments and outings Run errands such as grocery shopping and household shopping Maintain records of client condition and services provided Report changes in a client's condition to the agency office team Follow infection control and universal precaution practices Complete other duties outlined in the client's individualized care plan These responsibilities are based directly on the caregiver position description, which emphasizes personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, housekeeping, meals, companionship, transportation, errands, and client documentation.
