For the world's and people's tomorrows; the world's first, the world's best technologies and products; we will continue our part in creating a better society.Job SummaryJob DescriptionObjectiveRun automated machinery to ensure that manufacturing procedures are carried out.Essential ResponsibilitiesWorks from specific verbal and/or written instructions and standard work instructionsMakes routine adjustments/set ups of equipment for limited and readily definable and measurable variables such as length, temperature, or process speed.Loads raw material into the machine, completes minor changeovers, monitors machine operations, and inspects completed parts to ensure that job specifications are maintained.Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.Maintain activity logsMay participate in cross-training activities with other related positionsSupports and participates in the Company’s management and quality system including continuous improvement effortsNotifies group leader or supervisor of any problems or non-conforming productSupports and implements the Environmental policy as it pertains to work activitiesPerform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated aboveExperience: 1+ yearsEducation: High School or EquivalentCertifications: N/AKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesPrevious 2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience desiredAbility to understand/communicate verbally in English, plus read/write basic (sixth grade English level) for safety and zero-quality defect purposes.Ability to perform simple math computationAbility to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with othersAbility to learn, understand and adhere to all applicable safety precautions and proceduresScope of Supervision: N/ATravel Required: N/APhysical Demand (Special Considerations): Long periods of sitting or standing.
