Responsibilities include:Perform comprehensive patient screenings, including oral health assessments, medical history review, oral cancer screenings, head and neck examinations, charting, and vital signsTake digital radiographsProvide excellent preventive hygiene care, including proficiency with Cavitron and Prophy JetPerform periodontal charting and assess hard and soft tissuesApply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluorideTake impressions when neededEducate patients on oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, nutrition, and maintaining optimal oral healthHelp patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visitAccurately document existing restorations, decay, periodontal conditions, and recommended treatmentFollow practice protocols for infection control, biohazard safety, quality assurance, referrals, implants, periodontal care, and emergency proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment environmentBuild positive, trusting relationships with patients and contribute to a great overall patient experienceWhat We're Looking ForActive Colorado RDH licenseCurrent CPR and First Aid certificationStrong clinical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and patient education skillsA compassionate, positive attitudeSomeone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing outstanding patient careJoin Our TeamMakowski Dental 1220 S Parker Road, Suite 104 Denver, CO 80231Conveniently located near the Parker Road/Mississippi Avenue intersection, our office is easily accessible from Denver and Aurora.If you're looking for a flexible hygienist position where you can provide excellent care, build meaningful patient relationships, and work with a supportive dental team, we'd love to hear from you!Apply today and come grow with Makowski Dental!
